The monobloc forks made of 6 mm steel are connected to the lifting system by tie rods and torsion bars.
The pallet truck and its load always stay stable, even with an off-centred load.

The platform models have a drive unit and a suspended platform together with stabilising wheels on isolation mounts, considerably reducing shocks and vibrations. The components and the driver are well-protected.

The control handle is made of practically unbreakable cast aluminium alloy and the handle arm is of steel. All the controls can be used right-handed or left-handed.

The centrally positioned handle allows ergonomic operation regardless of the operator and his preferences. Its positioning has been designed to allow driving with the handle vertical without protruding beyond the frame, thus protecting hands in confined spaces.

The models with fixed and ride-on platforms have a safety threshold bar as standard. If the driver's foot protrudes while the pallet truck is moving, the weight of the foot on the bar instantly triggers a traction cut-off and displays a message on the dashboard.

Crown's folding side guards consist of 50 mm thick steel tubes and a strong C-clamp fastening system.
Confirmation that they will protect the operator is that they are guaranteed for the entire life of the electric pallet truck.

Crown stacker masts consist of nested I-section steel profiles. They are combined with carefully positioned thick cross members to offer excellent carrying capacities while providing excellent visibility from floor level to the top.

Straddle stacker models add possibilities. Not only do these stackers offer better ground clearance, for instance for tackling ramps, but initial lift models are also capable of carrying 2 pallets at the same time to reduce the number of journeys and optimise load transfers.

Crown’s Access 123 control system includes coded starting with customisable performance, a battery discharge indicator and on-board access to settings and diagnostics. No need for a laptop computer or service terminal. The technician navigates easily with the 4 direction buttons, greatly minimising downtime.

Depending on the model, you will have a choice of platforms:

• Folding with fold-away side guards
• Fixed with rear entry (Ben-Hur type)
• Fixed with side entries and backrest

The regenerative brake system combines power and progressive action, always capable of stopping in total safety. The parking brake is activated and deactivated automatically, even on a ramp. There is no risk of it being forgotten or rolling back when starting on a slope.

The control handle features all the functions, which can be used right- or left-handed. The controls are precise, allowing adjustment to the millimetre. An easily accessible switch can be used to change performance modes quickly so as to adapt to the surroundings or the job to be done.

With forks from 1000 mm to 3600 mm long, picking for 1, 2 or 3 pallets at the same time is possible. With a lift of up to 240 mm height, roll-containers do not represent an obstacle.

The forks, measuring 1150 mm, allow picking for one pallet at a time. But with a 960 mm lift, pallet picking or transfer always take place at an ergonomic height. Additional lifting and lowering controls on the backrest (option) can be used to set the forks and the load at the desired level.

With forks measuring 2400 mm and a lift of up to 850 mm height, this scissor lifting version maintains excellent stability even when carrying two pallets each weighing 1000 kg.
Routes are thus optimised while preserving the work ergonomics and reducing musculoskeletal disorders.

The mast and counterbalanced version offer a host of applications:
• Ergonomic lift order picking
• Load transfer around the warehouse
• Pallet stacking on delivery docks
• Re-supply by means of a lift height of up to 4300 mm

When a great variety of items has to be collected, floor storage space may sometimes be lacking. The first levels may be necessary for storage but also for picking. First and second level pickers allow the platform to be raised to 1,800 mm while maintaining a small footprint.

Designed for order picking in very narrow aisles and picking heights up to 10,600 mm, Crown's high lift pickers provide stability, exceptional visibility through the mast and top performance.

Crown designs and builds its AC traction motor and hydraulic pump to guarantee top performance, energy savings and minimum servicing. A 38 mm high strength galvanised bearing plate is centred between the motor and the reducer to ensure high performance acceleration and braking throughout the service life of the truck.

The patented offset mast gives a wider visibility window on the right, towards the forks and the supporting wheels. With a low profile driving position console, the field of vision is widened. Driving around curves and pallet pickup operations are faster and the risks of damaging the truck, the products and the pallet racks are considerably less.

The reach carriage provides a solid base for the mast thanks to a 20 mm thick steel plate reducing forward deflection, sealed high-strength main roller bearings with greasers, adjustable side guide rollers for play-free lateral guidance and adjustable rear rollers to prevent dynamic fore-and-aft oscillations.

Upward visibility is optimal: the driver protection roof has inclined profiles, integrated positioning of hoses and chains, fork carriage with panoramic visibility and inclined upper mast cross bars. Everything has been designed for perfect positioning.

The range of Crown reach trucks proposes a choice of 3 types of controls:

• fingertip controls offering different functions from one another
• dual controls to facilitate, for instance, operation in a cold store when wearing gloves
• multitask joystick containing all controls. Whatever your preference, all the controls are proportionally controlled and allow the combination of several functions simultaneously.

To maintain a high level of performance while maintaining safety, the smart turn control system knows whether the operator is entering or exiting a corner and adapts the acceleration and slowing in a curve.

During long spells of work, the operator must feel at ease and be comfortably installed. The cab is easily accessible by an intermediate step, leaving enough room for the head and legs. The controls and the seat come with many adjustments to adapt to different body shapes and sizes.
Storage spaces are placed in several positions so that they are always accessible for placing pens, A4 writing pads or other personal belongings.

The powerful three phase 4 kW AC drive motor provides driving force of up to 3250 N and a towing capacity of up to 3000 kg.
It is coupled with the eGEN regenerative brake system which uses the motor power to supply regular and long-term braking.

Whether you are travelling a short distance or a long one, comfort is essential for safe driving. The driving platform comprises a comfortable ergonomic backrest. There are two rear handles providing outstanding hold during approach manoeuvres for hitching up tow trailers. A variety of storage means are provided for tools, personal belongings or a roll of wrapping film. The fold-down seat is adjustable (optionally) proving added comfort for long trips.

The hitching attachment can be set to 5 different heights, to suit the hook. Several hook models are available, adapting to the types of tow trailer hitches.

The Monolift™ mast, a Crown exclusive, incorporates a closed box-type design. The nested mast sections consist of heavy “I” shape steel profiles connected to one another by thick cross pieces.
This design considerably lessens oscillation while improving the stability of the operator and the load up to more than 17 m high. These are particularly essential in Very Narrow Aisles (VNA).

At heights approaching that of a 5 storey building, in aisles barely wider than the truck itself, confidence is essential for safety and productivity. That is why the TSP cab offers space with modularity and comfort.

The MoveControl™ seat swivels through 110° providing 4 driving positions: slightly to the right (-20°), facing the forks (0°), slightly to the left (60°) or fully to the left (90°). In the last position, not only is it possible to enter the platform easily, and exit from it, but also provides excellent rearward visibility, essential in blind aisles requiring as much reversing as forward driving.

The operator is provided with clear and easily legible information on the dashboard which includes coded starting, a weight indicator, a fork height indicator, a battery discharge indication, and indications about the driving method (manual or guided).
The Crown Access 123® control system includes built-in diagnostics. There is no need for a laptop computer or a service terminal, even for performance adjustments.

To optimise comfort and safety, the driver's platform has cab lighting, adjustable LED working lights, a 2 speed fan, a 12 V power supply and several storage cubbies.
