HX side loader forklift trucks - Small but good

Compact size: HX range equipment, with their low decks and short chassis have outstanding ability to transport and handle long loads in restricted spaces.
Cab accessibility: The handle and the step enable the operator to reach the loads and the cab with the least effort.
Low emissions factor: The HX series has a 54 kW Hatz engine. This engine strictly meets emissions standards thanks to its catalytic oxidation converter which does not require regeneration.

GX side loader forklift trucks - gluttons for work

Responsive hydraulic controls: Using the highest performing components, the hydraulic circuit has been redesigned to be more accurate and responsive, providing particularly high performance and ergonomic handling experience. New options are now available, for instance, the choice between electronic or manual joysticks.
VRS system: The Baumann GX series uses a direct drive Archimedes screw for the fork spreading function. The accuracy of this system is impressive, eliminating unwanted sideways movements and unwanted stresses.
Built to last: All Baumann side loaders are designed to last. Changes have been made to the general hydraulic system design of the GX series to enhance efficiency and throughput. These changes have resulted in longer-lasting equipment tha fully complies with emissions regulations and benefits from much better precision thanks to its new hydraulic circuit.
Automatic stabilisation system: Once the platform is in a horizontal position, the load stays stable even when the machine is moving over uneven ground.

Equipped with the VRS system, the GS side loading forklift truck range has capacities from 5 to 8 tonnes. GS series chassis are built to highly exacting construction standards. The mast profiles have been specially designed to meet side loading requirements.

GS/VRS side loaders are rugged and designed for difficult tasks

VRS system: The GS series uses a direct drive Archimedes screw to extend the fork carrier. The VRS system eliminates transversal movements and dispenses with unwanted stresses.
The worm screw gear system offers very precise hydraulic movements and the fastest possible working speeds for previously unparalleled results.
Engine above the deck: The engine is placed above the carriage to decrease machine stoppage times by facilitating access to the engine for servicing work. The drive unit and the transmission are mounted in a specific compartment for easy access and to ensure that the centre of gravity is lower for improved stability, including for high lift reaches.
Specially designed masts: The Baumann masts are specifically designed for side loading applications. The profiles and rollers of the mast have been selected to compensate for the axial and radial forces associated with side loads. This makes for safer handling operations.
Visibility is an important consideration and the masts have a free lift travel so that the load can be lifted to just under the height of the deck. High free left duplex masts and triplex masts are also available from the catalogue.

Side loading forklift trucks ranging from 8 to 25 tonnes are produced according to the strictest manufacturing standards. They are provided with masts from the GS range for side loading applications. GS series side loading forklift trucks are highly productive units.

This gives the operator the benefit of the natural movements of side loading trucks together with new options, such as the choice between controls by electronic or manual joysticks.

Based on the know-how implemented in the GS 150-180 series, Baumann has developed the GX200, GXS250 models and the largest side loading forklift truck in the world, the GXS 500.

These high tonnage models, ranging between 20 and 60 tonnes, embody the same design and construction philosophy as the lower capacity series. Accordingly, these giants have chassis, drive axles and steering axles that are as reliable, stable and well designed as their smaller counterparts.

If the GX 200 can be manoeuvred freely, the GSX250 can lift up to 25 tonnes with a maximum load centre of 1250 mm, if it is supported by stabilisers.
